The Moxy Pirate Show

Show Summary

The Moxy Pirate Show is an animated series from Hanna-Barbera productions that showcases the goofy antics of a dog and his insect friend. Comedian and actor Bobcat Goldthwait voices a misguided cartoon dog named Moxy Andrew Mutt. Penn Julliete, the other half of the magic act, Penn and Teller, provides the voice of Moxy's sidekick and best friend, Flea. The two characters sit around most of the day watching TV. Sometimes the dog and his friend leave the house, but they always seem to get into trouble with the local dog catcher (voiced by John Stevenson) when they go outside. By mid-season, producers change Moxy Andrew Mutt's name to Moxy Moto and add 3D CGI-graphics to the show. Comedian Chris Rock also replaces Penn Julliete's voice for the Flea character. The new revived Moxy show produces a livelier pair of characters, as Moxy and Flea get rid of the dog catcher by the end of the season and are free to cause mischief wherever they please.
