  • The late Don Knotts stops by The Muppet Show and joins Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem in a rendition of the jazz classic "Lullabye of Birdland."

It's not often on The Muppet Show that the guest star overshadows the main cast. This episode is an exception. The late Don Knotts steals every scene he is in. From his opening scene, to his talking point with Fozzie (Knotts' explanation of "hip" is an all time classic.) to the rip-roaring hysterical "performance" of "Lullabye of Birdland" with Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem, Knotts stands head and shoulders above all else and again shows the comedic talent that has made characters Barney Fife and Ralph Furley so memorable and made Knotts a comedy icon. Don't miss this episode.
