    • (Some chickens appear.)
Charlie: (to the chickens) Remember, girls: an egg a day keeps the hatchet away.
      (Some pigs appear.)
Charlie: Here's the bacon to go with the eggs.
      (Some monsters appear.)
Charlie: Bergen, this isn't a television show. This is a zoo!

    • Charlie: I'm sorry. I don't usually talk to frogs, you know. Sometimes, I have dinner with frogs, though.
      Kermit: Oh, well, that's nice.
      Charlie: Yes. They're delicious.
      Kermit: That's not nice.
Charlie: Well, make up your mind.

    • (Kermit walks up to Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy.)
Charlie: Bergen, call the janitor. There's a toad loose in the theater.
Edgar: Now, Charlie. Kermit is supposed to be here. Besides, don't you know the difference between a frog and a toad?
      Charlie: I guess not. No.
Kermit: Well, you see, frogs are handsome, debonair and charming...while toads are ugly and give you warts.

    • Waldorf: Why would they have a bunch of chickens sing "Baby Face"?
Statler: 'Cause the alligators were sick.
      Waldorf: That makes sense.

  • NOTES (2)

    • The song Babyface was sung again in chicken form at Jim Henson's memorial, however more performers are probably singing at the memorial version.

    • Pay attention to Gonzo after he's fought the brick; it's actually his "original" design; deep-blue fur and beak-like nose, eyes that suggest constant-depression, and he's a bit smaller than Kermit. This version of Gonzo was is called Snarl and going by how the new and old look by comparison, one can clearly see Gonzo's meant to look like he's in a great deal of pain instead of just saying he is like always.
