Kermit trips as he walks out to give the opening.

The Country Trio sings "You Don't Want My Love." It's a very catchy upbeat song.

Floyd's leaving the show. He can't take the theme song anymore. He claims that it's zapping his creativity. The other musicians agree. They agree to stay after Kaye Ballard performs.

Kermit trips again on his way to introduce Kaye. She sings "Oh Babe. What Would You Say" and dances with a giant blue monster. She is dwarfed by the monster.

The musicians try to leave but Kermit reminds them that Kaye has another number. Kermit promises that next week they'll have a new theme. Nigel, the conductor is going to write the new theme. The musicians still leave because Nigel wrote the last theme.

Muppet Newsflash shares a story about a woman trying to break the world's record for the longest sentence.

At the ballroom Miss Piggy and Kermit are dancing together.

Gramps from the jug band is sitting in his rocking chair by his shack. He sings "Life Gets Tedious, Don't It." At the end the shack falls down.

Kermit talks to Kaye about the problem with the musicians. Kaye talks to Animal and shares the news with Kermit. Animals bites Kaye and wrestles Kermit.

A monster comes to a barber for a haircut. By the time the barber is done cutting there's nothing left of the monster.

The musicians agree to stay if Floyd is allowed to write the new theme. Floyd claims that Kermit won't understand his music.

A monster goes up to the Vendaface machine for a face lift. The machine makes the monster beautiful. After seeing what happen to the first customer and lady goes up to the machine. But she gets the face from the monster before her and screams.

Floyd and the band play the new theme for Kermit. He doesn't like it.

Kaye sings "One Note Samba" and Miss Piggy joins her. In a competition Kaye plays the sax, clarinet, triange, tuba, and the flute and Miss Piggy plays her own instruments.

Floyd wants Kaye to sign a petition about the theme song. Kaye calls Miss Piggy and hoggy and gets hit.

Because of the problems with the musicians Rowlf is the only Muppet playing the closing theme.
