      • The "Happy Girl Meets a Monster" sketch featuring Madeline Kahn and Doglion is a remake if a similar sketch that first premiered on The Ed Sullivan Show. The initial sketch was performed entirely by Muppets and featured a character who would become known as the Beautiful Day Monster. A rebuilt Beautiful Day Monster would make cameo appearances throughout the run of the series.
