    Sing along!!!

    He's a tall, tall man...

    From a tall, tall land...

    He makes no apologies...

    For his archiologies...

    From the mountain tops...

    To the ancient rocks...

    He digs for clues...

    In his dusty blues...

    He's a tall, tall man....

    From a tall, tall land...

    He makes no apologies....

    For his archiologies...

    For his archiologies...

My name's Eric and I'm a great supporter of Simcha's work and fan of the show. You've gotten some of the lyrics wrong, and it actually has two versions, the full original and the one shortened and adapted for the theme song for season 2 and 3. It's actually a clever little song and very catchy. They go like this:

The Full Original Version (first heard at the end of season 1 episode 25 "Where is Mount Sinai?"):
    He's a tall, tall man
    From a tall, tall land
    He makes no apologies
    For his archaeology

    From the mountain tops
    To the ancient rocks
    He digs for clues
    In his dusty boots

From the chosen land (From the chosen land)
    He's a chosen man (He's a chosen man)
Naked as the day he's born (Naked as the day he's born)
To the truth he has been sworn (To the truth he has been sworn)

Searching high and low (Searching high and low)
Nowhere he won't go (Nowhere he won't go)
In any ancient place (In any ancient place)
You're bound to see his face (You're bound to see his face)
You're bound to see his face (You're bound to see his face)
You're bound to see his face (You're bound to see his face)
You're bound to see his face (You're bound to see his face)
You're bound to see his face
Because he's a tall, tall man
    From a tall, tall land
    No apologies
For his archaeology (For his archaeology)
    For his archaeology

The Theme Song Version (first heard season 2 episode 1 "The Would-Be Messiah"):
    He's a tall, tall man
    From a tall, tall land
    He makes no apologies
    For his archaeology

    From the mountain tops
    To the ancient rocks
    He digs for clues
    In his dusty boots

    He's a tall, tall man
    From a tall, tall land
    No apologies
For his archaeology (For his archaeology)
    For his archaeology

According to the credits the music was composed and written by Time Bandits Music (Thomas Reynolds & Davin Bujalski)
