The path to super stardom is a long, difficult one. The camera follows Nat and Alex through their concerts, their rehearsals, and their private lives, as they deal with the growing pains related to love, friendship, and fame. Do the boys have what it takes to make it in the music business? By the music business we mean The Naked Brothers Band consisting of Nat and Alex Wolff, Rosalina DiMeco, David Julian Levi, Thomas Batuello, Qaasim Middleton and Cooper Pillot as the band's manager. close
I loved this episode because it was so intense with the decision between keeping Rosalina or to keep the new girl, Kristina in the band as the bassist. Also, I made a minor appearance, I can only be "heard" though. I was used as a sound effect, when you hear "woah" after the crazy girl is pulled down by a rope of the "Naked Idol stage". It'll be wonderful experience I'll always remember, as a milestone in my life - a dream come true! I met cast member, music supervisor of the show, and Nat and Alex's real life dad, jazz pianist and former band leader of "The Arsenio Hall Show". As well as, "thirtysomething" star Polly Draper who is the creator, showrunner, executive producer of the series. She directed this purticular episode. I also met Allie DiMeco (Rosalina), and spoke to cast member Qaasim Middleton a bit. I never really spoke to Nat and Alex Wolff until after their tour concert performance.
All in all, I loved the episode - everything about it.
I liked this episode alot... This episode had so much drama to it... Like with Nat and Rosilina... When she wanted Michelle to leave and he wouldn't until she gave him a kiss... And she did which Nat saw and was angry... Then Rosilina broke up with Nat and quit the band... Then the band decided to find a new bass player... At the end of the episode Rosilina left Michelle and wanted to be back in the band... Which left Kristina ( the new bass player) in a bad position... And left Nat confused!!!!!!!! :D
This "movie" was okay. It didn't really WOW me though. I was happy with the cliff hanger at the end with Rosalina wanting to come back in the band, directly after Kristina gets accepted into the band.. I predict that somehow Nickelodeon will make Kristina turn into the bad guy, thus taking the easy way out. Like they always do. The episode was lacking something for me though. Maybe a little bit more realism. I mean, when Nat held his "Naked Idol" contest, and there were only 3 people who even knew how to play bass guitar in all of America [the world?] I just kind of rolled my eyes. Overall, this show lacked luster for me. Hopefully better the next time around.
