I WAS IN 7TH GRADE WHEN "THE NAME OF THE GAME" WAS FIRST AIRED ON NBC. EVEN AT THAT EARLY AGE, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION VALUES. FOR A TV SHOW, THE MUSICAL SOUNDTRACK, THE EDITING AND DIRECTION WERE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE NORM. I'VE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE SHOW NEVER FOUND A HOME IN SYNDICATION AND DOESN'T SEEM TO FIT THE PROGRAMING OF COMCAST'S 'XTREMPIX', NETFLIX OR HULU.
when I was a 14 year old kid,, on a NOG episode Susan st james 'peggy maxwell' danced for a tough guy torpedo type to try and get out of a tough situation I remember she wore a white dress,,,I fell in love right there has a kid
I only saw a few episodes of this show when it was on TV, but I loved what I saw. It was usually literate, wonderfully acted and not afraid to tackle hot button issues or complex moral dilemmas. One comment on how peopel have different tastes. I saw Thge White Birch when I was ten and enjoyed it immensely. It gets excellent reviews on TV.com. However, the TV.com reviewer tor eit to pieces. I guess it proves the old adage, DasGustibus Non Est Diputandum
