    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Thomas Wolfe, described by William Faulkner as the greatest American writer of his generation (which was also Faulkner's), died in 1938, still in his thirties. "You Can't Go Home Again" was one of two novels by him to be published posthumously (in 1940). At approximately 700 pages, it is among the longest of American novels, although it was originally much longer.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Orson Welles does not appear in this episode, but is heard on the soundtrack, reciting appropriate passages from Thomas Wolfe's novel, "You Can't Go Home Again".
