Niles: I think Mr. Sheffield would really like you to come with him when he takes the children to Hawaii.
Fran: It's always the same thing. Dancing in the moonlight, walking on the beaches then falling into bed wrapped in each other's arms.
Niles: Since when?
Fran: Since Gracie doesn't like to sleep alone.
Maxwell: Miss Fine, how do you propose to pay for your trip to Alaska when you told me to lock all your credit cards up in the safe?
Fran: I'm sorry, I tuned out after you said propose.
Barbara Crampton is also well known for the movie Fraternity Vacation.
Peter Bergman and Dorothy Lyman reunite. They starred together on the daytime series "All My Children". Peter played Dr. Clifford "Cliff" Warner 1979-1987, 1988-1989. Dorothy played Opal Purdy 1981-1983.
Back in 3.6 "Shopoholic" and 3.10 "Having His Baby", it was established that Heather and Danny had a daughter named Judy. When Danny died in 4.12, the baby was not mentioned, and in this episode, Heather even moved into the Sheffield house for awhile -without her daughter.
Three's Company star Richard Kline also appears as himself, but he's written in the episode as the guard for the CBS studios, which is a joke about sitcom stars failed carreers.
Steve Posner, one of The Nanny producers, also appears on the show.
The Nanny director Dorothy Lyman appears as The Young and the Restless director, but she's not credited for her appearance.
CBS president Les Moonves and his real life assistant, Roz Kern, make cameo appearances.
Jeanne Cooper, Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow and Melody Thomas Scott (all real life stars of The Young and the Restless) appear as themselves. Barbara Crampton and Hunter Tylo (from The Bold and the Beautiful) also appear as themselves.
