  • I can't believe I'm gonna say this but This show was Painful! It was so silly not even funny!

Fran dates Mike Lavoue. Ok good then nothing She's called a Jinx and she realises that wearing red shoes cost Mike's team to loose a match. I mean c'mon! I love every nanny episode but this one i hated! The only good thing is fran saying Fran: Oh my god! Everyone's cheering my name right here in Madison Square Gardens, me a simple jewish girl from new york." They then cut to a picture of her looking like Babra with her eyes crossed! singing Memmories!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • When Fran spits out the shrimp the trajectory did not seem to be high enough for it to land in a woman's cleavage.

    • The dress Fran wears on her date with Mike is the same dress she was wearing in her dream in "Your Feets Too Big".

    • In the opening scene, Fran and Val had popcorn thrown at them for blocking the screen. Look at Fran's hair during the opening scene. The amount of popcorn in fran's hair goes from 3-4 kernals in one shot to 6-7 in the next and then reduces back down again.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Fran: You're taking this awfully well. I thought you would've been more upset I got dumped on national TV by one of New York's most elligable bachelors.
Sylvia: I know honey, that's why I'm heavily sedated. By the way, your father's disowned you.

    • Maxwell: Margaret, if you were Ms. Fine, what car would you like to drive?
      Maggie: Uh... my husband's.

    • Fran: That's it, I just gave up on men! Meanwhile, my mother just had an urge to jump out the window and she doesn't know why.

  • NOTES (1)

    • John Davidson is depicted as the Rangers' play-by-play announcer, but was actually the color analyst at at the time. Also, Mike LaVoe is shown wearing #7, but that number has been retired since 1979 (in honor of Rod Gilbert).
