    • Val: Would you care for a doughnut, Yetta?
Yetta: (looking at the platter of doughnuts) None of these have bones in 'em, do they?
Val: No! (rethinking her answer) The bear claws might.

    • C.C.: Well, I've got to admit, you surprised me tonight. You finally pulled off something bigger than your shorts.
Niles: Oh, yeah? Well,'re walk like a...marry me.

    • (Fran convinces Niles to talk to C.C. now that he is a successful producer)
Niles: Oh, God, I don't know what to say. I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl!
Fran: Yeah, well, don't open with that.

    • (C.C. walks into the kitchen, and Fran and Niles start arguing about whether or not he should tell her how he feels about her. Niles gets up and walks towards C.C.)
Niles: (Under his breath) I love you.
      C.C.: What?
Niles: Nothing. (Walks out of the kitchen)

    • Fran: Oh Niles, why don't you just tell her how you feel?
Niles: Oh, God no. Not until I have a successful career, a-a substantial income...a home!
      Fran: (Stricken) Oh, God.
      Niles: What?
      Fran: She's never gonna know!

    • Niles: What is the one thing that separates me from all the successful people in this world?
      Fran: Success?

    • Fran: Are you telling me all those years that you put dishwasher in her coffee, and changed her lip balm for glue stick, and called her a cow, you were flirting?
      Niles: What? No good?

    • C.C.: Niles, I have been buzzing for over an hour. What do I have to do to get some milk for my coffee?
      Niles: Hover over a bucket!

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Yetta dances to the opening theme song of the 1985 movie A Chorus Line.

    • This episode has the same title as the movie from 1968 (The Producers).

    • Fran: ....and he would like to speak with Bernadette Peter's agent, ASPCA!

This funny substitute for "ASAP" is actually an allusion to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing animal abuse. Bernadette Peters is a major advocate for the ASPCA.
