    • TRIVIA (1)

      • J.D. Daniels who plays Jack Walker in this episode comes back later as Mr. Anthony's son Mimo in episode 25 "The Chatterbox"

-Re-Casting error (When a show recycles guest actors in other roles throughout the series, rarely done in the same season though)

    • QUOTES (11)

      • Maxwell: This is absurd. The father just stands there like a stunned beast and gives his bloody servants the run of the house.
Fran: The servants don't have the run of the house. Oh, by the way, my mother's coming over to use your jacuzzi tub.
Niles: Tell her Level 3, bubbles and pulsates. (Maxwell glares) So I've heard.

      • Fran: Come on kids, "Royal Flush" is coming on.
Grace: I like "Full House" better.
Fran: No way, royal flush beats full house everytime. Oh look, there he is.
Kid on TV: Hey, yo, whoa!
        Fran: It's a gift from God...like Streisand.
        Maggie: He is so obnoxious.
Brighton: It's tv Maggs, it's a formula. Look, the big sister is an airhead and the little kid is obnoxious--but then he grows up into a teen heartthrob.
Fran: Yeah, but he better keep his ego in check, otherwise he'll be knocking over video stores with Dana Plato.
Maggie: What happens to the cute little one?
Grace: She gets a breast reduction and goes to Yale.

      • C.C.: (To Fran) I could kill you. I could rip your heart out with my bare hands!
Fran: She doesn't have a key to the house, does she?

      • C.C.: What do I have to do to please anyone around this house?!
        Maxwell: (Warningly) Niles.
Niles: But, sir. Fish gotta swim.

      • C.C.: (about an actor) You see Maxwell, if we've got Jack, we've got a success. I will bet my reputation on it.
Niles: Oh sorry, there's a five dollar minimum.

      • Maxwell: You're going to talk him back into the show.
        Fran: Oh, but Mr. Sheffield!
Maxwell: You are going to march yourself upstairs, put on something smashing, take him to the best restaurant in town and order the most expensive thing on the menu!
Fran: Well, alright, but I am NOT taking the limo!
        Maxwell: Oh, yes you are!
        Fran: Slave driver!
(Fran leaves the room, then comes running back in)
Fran: But there is no way you are going to buy me a new dress!
Maxwell: (About to argue, but realizes what Fran said) GET OUT!
Fran: (To Niles, in hallway, motioning with fingers) This close.

      • Maxwell: You are going to rectify this situation!
        Fran: Wow. That sounds painful.

      • (Fran and the kids are watching a very "Nanny-esque" show called "Royal Flush")
Fran: Shh! Here comes the maid!
(on the TV, there's a woman who looks exactly like Fran, standing next to the butler)
Maid: (to butler) Don't start with me, Clyde! (laughs like Fran)
Fran: Just look at the clothes she's wearing! How can she afford to dress like that on her salary? I know I can't!

      • C.C.: I love Johnny Walker, I mean, Jack Daniels, I mean, Jack Walker!

      • Niles: How's your pudding, Ms. Babcock?
        C.C.: It's delicious, why?
Niles: Just as I thought. These expiration dates are meaningless.

      • C.C.: Nanny Fine, you were alone in a room with the kid for 2 minutes and he wants to quit showbusiness?
Niles: If only we could put her in a room with Tori Spelling...

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • Fran refers to a devilish little boy as Damien. This is a reference to the 1976 movie The Omen where an American ambassador learns that his son, Damien, is actually the literal Antichrist.

      • Maxwell and C.C. are mounting a revival of the show Oliver!. This 1968 musical was about an orphan who ran away from an orphanage and hooked up with a group of boys trained to be pickpockets by an elderly mentor.

      • The episode title is a play on the famous song, When You Wish Upon a Star, sung by Jiminy Cricket in the Disney movie, Pinocchio.
