One of FOX's original 9 shows from its 1987 launch, the show revolved around Benjamin 'Beans' Baxter. His father, an intelligence agent for The Network, is kidnapped by agents of UGLI, an anti-government organization. With only his wits, some gadgets, and contacts at The Network, Beans hopes to locate and rescue his father, all while trying to deal with the pressures of high school at the same time.
