Gagbuster #1: Hey, look. These guys are telling jokes.
Gagbuster #2: They're not supposed to do that.
Gagbuster #3: Yeah. Pretty soon people will start laughing at them.
Gagbuster #2: We've gotta stop 'em, okay?
Gagbuster #1: But how?
Gagbuster #4: Oh, I know. Let's select them out with extreme prejudice! Set for cancellation...aim...
Mighty Mouse: (protecting Rocky and Hoodwinkle) Oh no! Not my cartoon buddies!
Rocky & Hoodwinkle narrator: Hoodwinkle, the none-too-bright moose was mixing a special solution which would eliminate the nation's number one affliction.
Hoodwinkle: At last! A cure for loud Hawaiian shirts!
Mighty Mouse (to child): Well, of course you're bored! Look what you're watching! Hour upon hour of electronic pablum!! Errrgggh!!! Imitation is the sincerest form of television!
Mighty Mouse: Now I know why they call television a medium. Because nothing on it is rare or well done!
The shows Mighty Mouse is sent to are "The Jetstones" (a combination spoof of The Jetsons and The Flintstones), "Ring-A-Ding, Where Are You?" (Scooby Doo), and "Rocky & Hoodwinkle" (Rocky & Bullwinkle), which is invaded by "The Real Gagbusters" (The Real Ghostbusters).
Mighty Mouse's line above, "Imitation is the sincerest form of television," was invoked back in the 1950s by Fred Allen.
