Very funny episode.

I watched the first season then lost interest. But I caught the last two episodes and really really enjoyed this one. It made me laugh out loud in several places. The scene between the characters Barb (played by Wanda Sykes) and "Sparkle" (brilliantly played by Kelly Mantle...who is one of my favorite actors) was hysterical and the funniest moment of the show. I didn't really get all the scenes in the classroom...but maybe you'd have to keep up all season to get it. I can't wait to see the final two episodes this season. Does anyone know if this show will be returning next season?moreless

Better episode than last week's but still not as funny as some of the earlier episodes this season.

After a disappointing episode last week, The New Adventures of Old Christine picked up a bit here. The sections with Richard at the school and the scenes with Marly and Lindsay were actually quite amusing. The scenes with Christine and Barb in the gym did not really work for me, though I liked the bit about Christine's grandma's jewellery. Matthew was not as good as he was previously either. I am hoping things get better in the new year because although not many people appreciate this show, I really like it and hope it's around for a bit longer yet.moreless
