Richard is secretly planning an impromptu wedding for him and New Christine, so to help him out, Christine drags a very cranky and pregnant New Christine to a salon while he puts the plan together. Meanwhile, Barb tries to take her citizenship test.

A solid episode from this show, definitely eventful. The plot lines continue to be a tad bit too ridiculous for my liking, but the episode itself was enjoyable. New Christine has been cranky lately, so Old Christine decides to make her over as they go to a salon. Old Christine isn't doing this from the kindness of her heart. This is just to distract New Christine, since Richard & Matthew are planning a surprise wedding, much to New Christine's father's discomfort. He wont allow the wedding to continue. Now Richard has to battle it out with him. For the bagels. Meanwhile Old Christine's hair gets ruined so she ends up having to dye it blond. Definitely a hilarious situation. And it was nice to see Julia-Louis Dreyfus with blond hair. Once all is said & done, the wedding does not continue. And Old Christine stays a blond. A ridiculous joke they have on here is when Matthew is hitting on Old Christine, his sister. Sure, it was for laughs, still pretty sick when you think about it.Old Christine also unsuccessfully gets New Christine's father back for what he did to her. Meanwhile Barb tries to officially make herself a citizen of the US. First she has to take a test, which is the the situational comedy of the plot. A solid episode.moreless
