I'm really sick of Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) popping up in sitcoms. First it was 30 Rock and now it's The New Adventures Of Old Christine. She just isn't very funny and it's time for her to fade away.

This episode had a few funny parts and Richard's general dopey personality is still very entertaining to watch four seasons in. The lack of any real Matthew lines or conflict probably led to a lower rating, but Barb got much more screen time than usual and played off Christine as well as ever.

The clock may be ticking on The New Adventures Of Old Christine but the show certainly isn't the worst on television.moreless

I'm a big fan of The New Adventures of Old Christine but this episode was somewhat disappointing. Maybe it was the subject matter of Margaret's irritating voice but it had nowhere near the laughs I normally expect. There was one nice scene with Richard and Matthew where they are talking about the fact that Richard chickened out of the vasectomy but was pretending to New Christine that he had gone through with it. Most of the rest of it was too embarrassing and self conscious and I did not enjoy it that much. Maybe the second part next week will be better.moreless
