This was a GREAT way to start one of my favorite shows of all time. Fantastic episode. I love Piglet, Pooh and one of the very few times I liked Christopher Robin. This episode was cool, fun and funny. I love to listen to Paul Wintchell play Tigger. It takes me back to "Blustery Day" "Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger Too", etc. I also love listening to Jim Cummings talk to himself. I rank him with the cast of "The Simpsons" (particulary Hank Azaria, Dan Castenella and Harry Shearer) and Billy West (voices 6 main and reoccuring characters in Futurama).

But, Jim Cummings playing Winnie-the-Pooh (trying to fill the big shoes of Stering Holloway) and playing Tigger (trying to fill the gigantic shoes of Paul Wintchell), are two of my favorite voice-over actors ever! :)moreless
  • A good start for the show.

This is a mostly good New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh episode. While I do believe the quality of the episode decreases ever so slightly towards the end of the episode, it still isn't nearly enough to call it a bad episode.

    Basically, this is the episode:

Christopher Robin and his friends go to the movie theater and see a movie which Piglet is scared of. After that, Pooh and friends make a movie in the 100 Acre Wood which they show to Christopher Robin in the end.

A simple plot, yet it works pretty well.

    Final words:

While not the best episode (in my opinion), this is still a good episode to give the show a good start. Anyone will likely enjoy it.moreless
