    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • When Gambit takes the three-wheeled vehicle to chase Henri's lorry, he radios to Purdey that he's heading west. Purdey, who is looking over the area from a tall rooftop, says that Henri is northbound, and tells Gambit to turn left to follow him. This would be impossible, as a left turn would be a turn to the south.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • (after the Unicorn believes he's killed the Minister who survived thanks to wearing a bulletproof vest)
Steed: I'm eternally grateful, Minister, you're very courageous. Oh, he got you right through the heart.
Purdey: Very courageous, what if he'd gone for a head shot?

      • Minister: The Unicorn, he has a triple-D rating.
Purdey: Which means he's in the top 5 of the Good Spy Guide.

      • The Unicorn: My people will have me out of here in a few hours.
        Gambit: I admire your confidence.
The Unicorn: You will live to see it justified, Mr Gambit. In fact, that's probably as long as you will live.

      • Henri: They will kill me!
        Steed: I'll send lilies.

      • Steed: (as Purdey cooks) Irresistible.
Purdey: The chef or the omelette?
Steed: What is one without the other?

      • Commander: The situation is catastrophic. Steed, this is no time for jokes!
Steed: On the contrary, if you'd faced as many problems as I have you'd realise that the only saving grace was a sense of humour.
