The New Stu Erwin Show was a situation comedy that ran for five seasons
on prime-time television during the 50s. Stu (Stuart Erwin) and June
(June Collyer) move to the suburbs with their daughters Joyce (Ann E.
Todd) and Jackie (Sheila James Kuehl) after he gets a job as principal
at the local high school. Each episode ran without commercial breaks,
and the show featured the nation's first African-American regular TV
cast member, Emmy award-winning actor, Willie Best, appearing in a
supporting role each week.
