Just same old routine for this show. A news item, they scramble to get the "news" on the air and then the rest of the show is dedicated to their annoying relationships. Why is it every time a noteworthy news issue is resolved at the end of the show. Don't issue continue for weeks on end, wouldn't it be nice if we didn't know what happened to their Egyptian reporter until the next week or week after? Mortimer is just miscast for this show. I cringe when she Pegg and Waterson are one. No good female character, they're all weak - and when I say weak, I mean not strong people. Well except for maybe Olivia Munn and the Witch, the Witch you ask, I'm referring to Jane Fonda - Miss Evil. No why does the "strongest" female character have to be evil?? This show is brutal!!moreless
    • Characters given good time, comedy hits right, and two very important news pieces

I'll try to be brief. The comedy, while heavy-handed, was great, especially the stripper. The ending was inspiring, although drawing a strange parallel to Will if you think it through. And overly dramatic with the hug and Neal's well-timed reunion with Kahled. Will's second to last scene shows he still hasn't let go of that annoying tendency to defend JOURNALISM. Great development for Sloan (I learned stuff!) and Neal, but I actually wanted a break from Jim/Maggie. I didn't like the ending to the Valentine's Day thread, except Don's continued good guy-ness. I like Don now--another developed character. And Mackenzie and Wade are done! Yay... He was awful, and I liked how she dealt with him. Overall, a 9.moreless
