  • ALSO: WELCOME TO THE SHOW, TERRY CREWS!

    The Newsroom: Meltdown

"Bullies" was an excellent episode that provided a tremendous amount of new Will McAvoy backstory. No longer does he seem bulletproof, and the show is much better for it.

    EDIT

Sloan subs for Elliot and takes over the ten o'clock show dealing with the Japanese nuclear crisis following the March 2011 earthquake, but her harsh tone may ruin her credibility. Meanwhile, Will sees a therapist to try and fix his insomnia.

    • Anybody else who noticed a striking ressameblance with a West Wing episode?

      7.0
Watching this episode I got this funny feeling I had seen it before.

In a way I did. Recently I have been watching the West Wing again and in series 3, episode 13 there is president Bartlett talking - throughout the whole show - with his shrink because he has sleeping problems. Which have - as it turns out - been caused by Toby McGuire who asked him - in the previous episode - whether he had been beaten by his (alcoholic) father.
