    • QUOTES (4)

      • Gumbel: Of all the famous brother combinations in the NFL, which siblings are the best?
Shannon: Do the right thing, Boomer.
Boomer: I went into an in-depth study here. ... I will say this, of all of the good tight end combinations I like the Bavaro brothers myself.
Shannon: I was thinking it might be Boomer and Phil (Simms). And I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But it would have to be the Sharpe brothers.

      • Boomer: How about Terrell Owens and his comment this week? He was asked if he was going to pick a quarterback to build a team around you think he would say McNabb? No, he said Peyton Manning. I give him a 10 for being honest, but also a 10 for being stupid by not including McNabb.

      • Shannon: If you're a coach, you want your name to be Mike, because you get a job, probably.

      • Boomer: They say Vinny [Testaverde] still has six pack abs, Unlike me and Dan who have 12 pack abs…

        Dan: Hey, comment about yourself!

    • NOTES (2)

      • The Cevy Game picks were as follows:

Dan, Shannon and Boomer all said Philadelphia over Dallas.

Dan and Boomer went with Jacksonville, but Shannon picked Cincinnati.

In the Monday night game all three picked San Diego over Pittsburgh.

It was also an all Denver Pick with in their game against Washington.

And Dan and Boomer also agreed on Cleveland, and Shannon went with Chicago.

In retrospect the scores were: Shannon bring up the rear with one, Boomer and Dan tie with three.

      • Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was the narrator of the opening sequence. He did this to promote his movie Doom opening October 21, 2005.
