I have never watched this show before, but I know people who like it and I thought I might report this for the fans here on TV.com.
I was watching 106 and Park today on BET and Jill Scott was on the show. I am not sure if they are talking about a second season or a movie or whatever, but Rocsi (the host) asked if the show was coming back and Jill responded, "They're writing it right now."
Interesting. I have heard nothing about the show for a year now so I assumed it was dead.
