Whats everybodys favourite song from the OC?

I have the soundtracks and I really love all of the songs.

I'd have to say that my favourite is 'paint the silence' and 'we used to be friends'

but i really love all of the songs

what are all of your favourites?

I love a lot of them, but they are best when they have meaning in the show. I loved Hallelujah, Hide and Seek, Paint the Silence, Dice, Fall at Your feet, Forever young, Champagne Supernova and So many more I can't think of right now

Hallelujah! I don't know if it is on the soundtracks because I only have one but they always played that song. I actually just finished watching the season 1 finale and got a little teary eyed because they played that song at the end. I'm to emotional!

Freaking Smashing Pumpkins! Almost pooped my pants when I heard "To Sheila" during The Debut. Life is a Song was great, arguably the best musical montage ever on the show. I really liked the "A Bad Dream" sequence on The Avengers, and the ending to "The Aftermath" with Bloc Party. Most of the great Season 1 and 2 music/montages have already been listed here. I watch Gossip Girl as a guilty pleasure, and it's an enjoyable show, not great, but good, but one thing missing from it is those powerful musical montages.

Ya, there was only one really good one that I can remember from GG when they played Apologise and it showed Rufus calling Lily, Blair/Nate sleeping together, Lily watching Dan/Serena being happy together, Lily's mother taking her tablets and then Chuck leaving.

Oh and also the one at the end of the Thanksgiving episode with the flashbacks mixed with scenes of the present, that was good.

Oh! The Thanksgiving episode of Gossip Girl was what got me to like the show.

That is my favorite song of all time!!! =D Loved it on there... also the song "As (Seasons)" by Har Mar Superstar, which I don't think made it to the soundtrack, but it was in the second Chrismukkah, and I also like Death Cab's "A Lack of Color".

well most of them are already mentioned.

    plus

honey and the moon (I loved the way the lyrics were in sync with the scene, which seldom happens)

Yeah I agree...Plus I just dont like GG as much as The OC anyway, music or not, I dont know I just cant get into the characters as much as The OC. The only one I have an opinion on is Blair and shes a "love to hate" kind of character where you think shes funny and interesting so you love her but shes such a b!tch so you hate her at the same time lol.

Many great songs, but the one I like the best is:

    Forever Young

Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek

Soloman Burke - Don't Give Up On Me: Sandy sings it for Kirsten.

Jem - Maybe I'm Amazed: Played in the last episode of season 1, when they are dancing.

And the best one is Into Dust by Mazzy Star, in the "The Escape" episode, where they are going to Tijuana, Mexico, and the song is played when Ryan is holding Marissa, after her overdose..
