Seth: What do you want to do with this? (holds up Marissa's invitation)
Ryan: You're the Birthday General.
Seth: First of all, I'm the Birthday Captain. And the decision of whether to invite Marissa or not is way beyond my pay grade.

Summer: Um, hi. Two homeless guys just got into a fight over the crudité and knocked down Scientist Ryan.

Sadie: You do know this is a Foreigner song, right?
Ryan: Yeah.
Sadie: Okay.

Sandy: As of today we may no longer be your legal guardians, but you will always be part of this family.

Summer: Look, I got nothing against you. In theory. But my dad just got out of a marriage and I don't want him rushing back into another.
Julie: Oh, Summer. I totally understand. We are nowhere near close to getting engaged. Trust me.

Marissa (to Volchok): So what, are you stalking me now?

Seth: Yeah, and if you cross Johnny Law, no more time in that day care juvy. It's going to be hard time in the big house for you, pally.

Summer: Because I have to worry about Julie Cooper giving my dad VD and taking all of his money. So my plate is full.

Summer: If you really do like her (referring to Julie), maybe don't wear the bathing suit you bought last year in Rome. Just a thought!

Julie: For the past few months I've been seeing Neil Roberts.
Marissa: Doctor Roberts? Wait what have you had done?(Looks at Julie's chest)
Julie: Not seeing that way, I mean seeing seeing. Although, he probably would give me a couple freebies.

Summer: Coop, you spend all your time on that lifeguard stand staring out at the water like you're a naval widow.

Julie (about Neil and her seeing each other): Does Marissa know about this?
Summer: Not yet.
Julie: Well, I guess I better tell her then hm?... And buy me a new bikini!
Summer: Awkward.
