  • Classic stuff!!!

    9.5
As a big Odd Couple fan, this episode is one of my favorites. Michael Constantine is brilliant and I laugh out loud everytime he raises his voice, as if I am seeing it for the first time.I agree with the previous reviewer, the part with Felixs'collapsable cup is way funny, and when Oscar fills it with the watering can is off the charts funny. The scene at the pawn shop is very funny as well. Richard Stahl (the Florist)Has many roles in this series And I think he is great in every one of them. When he was Brother Ralph in the episode "THE ODD MONKS" was one of his best.moreless
  • another great example of tv comedy. also one of the first attempts by Felix to reconcile with his ex-wife Gloria, that brings many laughs

    9.0
After blowing off a date with one of Nancy's friends Felix makes Oscar mad, and he vows to help him get back to his ex-wife.

to do this Felix has the idea of engraving some sweet frase on a watch. Oscar offers to get it done, but then the jewllery store is burglared and it's up to Oscar's "underworld" connections to find the stolen watch.

this has many funny moments in it. from Felix's water glass, to Oscar's gangster friend being a florist with feelings, to the fact that the guy that has the watch loves dogs, in spite of being a burglar, and finally the end, where we find out what's engraved in the watch. this one is packed with funny moments. good episode!

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Oscar: You have a family?
Bill Green: What, crooks can't have a family??? If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If we miss a alimony payment, do we not hear from our ex-wives?
Oscar: Oh, he was marr...oh, boy, was he married!

    • Oscar: Look, he doesn't have much money. Give 'im a break.
Bill Green: Give him a break? Oh, that's great. Give him a break. I wish somebody'd give me a break sometime! What do you think, guys in my profession ain't been hit by inflation? Do you know how much money it costs to store stolen goods?

    • Felix: How can a nice florist like that be dangerous?
Oscar: Are you kidding? They say his father made the floral arrangements for the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

    • Felix: Not much of a jewelry store.
Oscar: What did you expect? Breakfast at Tiffany's?
Felix: I wouldn't even chew gum in a place like this.

    • Felix: (about Gloria) She used to call me "honey bear." That was before she started calling me "Mr. Clean."

    • Felix: Tonight, you're going to see a new Felix Unger. I'm going to be a million laughs. I'll be a laugh a minute.
Oscar: I'll settle for a chuckle an hour.
