  • this one was another average episode. Felix Messes up a couple's wedding, and the episode revolves around him and Oscar trying to get the couple back together again, while at the same time resolving their insecurities about Marriagemoreless

another episode that doesn't focus exactly on the 2 main characters, but instead on the couple that's friends with Oscar and Felix. this episode had a couple of great things, such as the scene of Felix in the church, during the reharsal, and Oscar trying to play golf in the living room floor.

also note the first appearence of Richard Stahl, the first of 8 guest spots, always as a different character. the most versatile guest actor in this series.

this episode also seems a bit dated, even when it aired it must have seem that way, because they give that exagerated romantic image of the groom, who loves old movies, and thinks his married life should reflect what he watches on the screen, which is why the problems between him and his bride arise.

a fair episode, with some good gags, but they produced ones much much better than this 1moreless

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Felix: Weren't you nervous at your wedding?
Oscar: No, I was too mad to be nervous.
      Felix: Mad?
Oscar: Yeah, Blanche purposely scheduled our wedding on the same day as an All Star baseball game. I'm probably the only man in America who prayed for his wedding to be rained out.

    • Harvey: Then we saw A Man and a Woman and it was something else. The passion, the sensitivity, the ecstasy of victory, the agony of defeat.
Oscar: That wasn't A Man and a Woman, that was the Wide World of Sports!

    • Felix: I'm sorry.
Phyllis: Oh, yesterday, you were sorry about the rehearsal. Today, you're sorry about the wedding. Would you like to stick around and try for the children?
