since 1971, the "trapped" kind of episode was done to death in every sitcom in the history of this planet, but, as it stands, at the time, it mustn't have been. as if being stranded is not enough, they are stranded in costume. This has a lot of little gems in there. Oscar trying to break the store window, Felix in the kitchen elevator, the old cranky husband, the annoying neighbour kid, and felix tidying the basement. ALso it was one of the few episodes of the show that was presented in flashback form, a mode of storytelling most used by the Dick Van Dyke show. It made for a good Season Finale.moreless
