NBC (ended 2013)
Where'd you hear that the finale is only a half hour?
Okay, so here is what I know. I haven't heard back from NBC yet, but, based off of various press releases, OfficeTally, and Excel spreadsheets:
spoilered for length, no respoilers except titles
Feb 12 - Lecture Circuit Part Two
March 5 - Blood Drive (Valentine's Episode)
March 12 - tdb
March 19 - tbd
March 26 - tbd
April 2 - tbd
April 9 - tbd (8 pm) tbd (9 pm)
April 16 - tbd
April 23 - tbd
April 30 - tbd
May 7 - Season Finale Part One (100th episode)
May 14 - Season Finale Part Two
That would give us 29 half hours for the season, which is what is supposed to happen. So that is a long set of uninterrupted new ones. The season finale will be an hour, but split into two half hours. So similar to Lecture Circuit in that sense.
Again, most of this is not yet confirmed by NBC.
Two people quit. Michael and someone else 'pretty major.' No idea who, but there are valid reasons to suspect Jim, Dwight, Andy, or Angela
This is a great thread to keep up-to-date on the latest episode info. As a compliment, I have created a page that highlights all upcoming episodes of The Office on TBS/NBC. I plan to maintain it throughout the season with confirmed listings from network sites. Check it out and let me know what you think:
Two Weeks (not two weeks notice as previously reported)
Michael's relationship with the new vice president (guest star Idris Elba) becomes increasingly tense, as Michael finds an excuse to goof off even more than usual. Meanwhile, Pam faces the challenge of a new copier and Kelly develops a crush.
So, as much as I hope its Kelly and Andy, it's likely Kelly and Idris. Plus, they got the chairs... and now they have the copier.
Hunter, I don't think we're going to get any more full-hour episodes this season. We've "officially" gotten 15 episodes so far, but "Weight Loss" and "Stress Relief" were both a full hour, so that gives us 17 half-hours. We were promised 28. If we get a new half-hour every week through May 14 (with the exceptions of none on 4/2 and two split around the "Parks & Recreation" premiere on 4/9), that would be exactly 11 more...giving us our promised total of 28. Of course, if one of the April dates is a repeat, then yes, we'll have to get a full hour somewhere else...
Anyway, I've updated the calendar for the first time in forever. It's all there now!
David Brent could appear in the last episode of the US version of The Office.
Ricky Gervais is tipped to reprise his role as the Slough-based boss alongside US star Steve Carell.
Carell's co-star Rainn Wilson revealed the plan at a party in Los Angeles.
He said: "Hopefully we'll do it for the final show."
