Steve Carell made $175,000 per episode last season. I'd imagine that will jump to at least $200,000 to $250,000 this year, but I haven't seen anything to confirm that. I've never seen anything about the rest of the cast. I would guess that, based on Steve's salary, the other stars (Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer) are probably making at least $100,000 per episode, but likely not much more than $150,000 or so. But that's completely a guess on my part.

According to TV Guide, both Zach Braff and Charlie Sheen are making $350,000 per episode. But since "Two and a Half Men" produces more episodes than "Scrubs," Sheen will make more over the course of a season.

Pretty interesting list of TV biz salaries: TV Guide Report

There aren't even 170 shows on network primetime. Scrubs is in the bottom half in the ratings, but it does do pretty well in the all-important 18-49 demo, so that is certainly a factor.

my bad i didnt make that clear. if i remember it was on E! news when zach braff got his pay raise, they were comparing his salary to charlie sheen's on two and half men. they were saying how two and a half men does better in the ratings than scrubs, which came in 87th this season as opposed to 19th for two and a half men.

thank god for wikipedia, cause i was way off.

OMG - I read that link and cant believe how much money Oprah makes! Here in the UK you sometimes hear about her, but not that often... she whoops Simon Cowels figures by over $100 million a year!!!! My gawd....

    Oprah Winfrey, per year$260 million

    Judge Judy, per year$30 million

....and what is with Judge Judy being paid $30 million? WHY?

Like her or not, Judge Judy is a draw. Her show is easily the most-watched in the courtroom genre, and it's typically one of the most-watched syndicated shows in any genre. Plus, you have to consider the volume of work. While sitcoms produce 20-25 episodes per season, Judge Judy produces about 260. Even if they are quick and easy to produce, that's a LOT of shows. It's more work, and the high pay is justified by the money brought in by advertising for such a high number of new episodes.

    Back to the Office...

I can't believe Steve makes that much per episode! And the others are probably pushing 100,000 per episode. Well, at least Jim, Pam, and Dwight. The others are probably a few steps behind.

Bringing this up again after I found this article:

We hear that NBC/Universal quietly boosted the pay of several stars on The Office recently. Popular stars like John Krasinki (Jim Halpert) and Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly), who started off earning salaries in the neighborhood of $20K per episode, are now earning closer to $100K per episode, according to one source familiar with the negotiations. Star Steve Carell earned his first raise back in season two by jumping to a reported $175K per episode. An NBC/Universal spokesman declined comment.
