i have to say that this episode tonight was so much better than the last 2 episodes of the office. finally we see what WHUPH is all about and what Ryan was trying to do with it when he was using michael for his help. i loved the one where Dwight made a massive hay place and tricked people into making it look like an actual fun place to be in for money and i definitely new before he said it when he was going to be the hay king haha but it was still hilarious. i also liked michaels voices at the beginning, the cracked me up! so far very good episode Grade = Amoreless

The idea of wuphf.com is actually pretty clever, and something that the world could use right now, but this was just not an enjoyable episode overall. The Ryan Howard character has completely jumped the shark, and then got back on the jet skis and jumped it again, so an episode revolving around him probably is not going to work, and this one was not.

Michael's performance was not terrible, but Steve has already mentally checked out of the show and is just fulfilling his obligation before he exits at the end of the season. The rest of the characters were not spectacular tonight either.

Average Office episode, but that's never a compliment for this program.moreless

Lets face it, The Office hasn't had a good episode in weeks, but this episode was loads better than the last one and we have a couple of good one liners here. But as I was watching this episode, it just reminded me that I only watch for the characters now, not the comedy which I have mentioned before. This episode did bring one or two laughs, but it almost completely fell short. But when Michael was mentioning everyone in the office, and Dwight got the contract being void by Angela, I actually enjoyed these scenes. Dwight and the Hay story line, absolutely ridiculous, and definitely not entertaining.

Jim trying to find things to do without actually doing anything was entertaining but Jim was just to put it bluntly, out of character half the time. Michael & Ryan surprisingly stole the show here, with wrapping up the entire episode, but like I said, this show is definitely not that funny anymore, at least compared to other things on television that surpassed Office's comedy in so many ways.

The characters remain intriguing though, which will remain my only reason to continue watching.moreless

Ryan tries to get his website, Wuphf.com, going

After a strong start to the season, I've been slightly disappointed in the last few episodes of The Office.. at times, it seems like the show isn't even really trying to produce a great episode, instead settling for easy jokes and mediocre plots. However, tonight's episode focused on Ryan a lot more than they have in the past three seasons and showed him and Michael trying to get people interested in his new website, which is a ridiculous combo of facebook, twitter, texting and other social networking sites.

Meanwhile, while Ryan and Michael try to get people to join the website, Dwight holds a "hay maze" in the parking lot of Dunder Mifflin to make some extra money while Jim finds that he has a commission cap and finds work not worth doing. Therefore, he finds ways to goof off.

For me, the episode was the best when we were focusing on Michael and Ryan. I've always found the idea of WUPHF.com to be insane, and the over-enthusiastic advertising campaign that Michael and Ryan remains funny after multiple viewings. I was also surprised to see the writers give Angela a new romantic interest besides Dwight. Nothing against Angela and Dwight, but that's one relationship I just don't care about anymore (the final straw was that stupid little sex contract they made.. so dumb.) Therefore, seeing Angela void the contract made me happy.

Everything else was a bit disappointing and more of the same. Jim and Pam don't have much to do as usual, Erin says some of the dumbest things I've ever heard and everybody else gets a couple of good lines a week.

Parts of me will always yearn for the good old days of the Office, but right now, I'm okay with settling for what we're being given. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they bring about Michael's departure.moreless
