    This has got to be the most risque and titillating episode of the new Outer Limits; if anything, this episode probably scared a lot of guys off dating Alyssa Milano. It's a good premise, but not executed as scary as it could have been, yet a very daring episode with weird but excellant special effects that becomes too fantastic, but the episode would have been better as an episode of the old "Kolchak:
    The Night Stalker" series. Jason London and Saul Rubinek sort of sleepwalk through their scenes as Alyssa oozes sex and bares her breasts and the time-limited plot ends anti-climactically. I kind of have to wonder where all that extra mass goes that Alyssa absorbs; she should have ended up fifty feet tall. In one really bad plot point, Jay (Jason London) submits himself to Alyssa without knowing what is going to happen, and yet, everything "somehow" works all right in the end. This is one of the exemplary "Outer Limits" episodes I recall, but I think it would have been a much better episode if it had been re-written into a full length movie with a better and believable ending. To tell the truth, since this episode, I've imagined Alyssa's role being recreated by nearly every actress I can think of from Christina Ricci and Crystal Bernard to Christina Aguilera and Mila Kunis.moreless

    I have just received my first season of The Outer Limits from Amazon.com and I have never been so amazed to watch one of the best serie ever.
    I remember The Outer Limits when I was like 10, watching with my little brother two episodes per week, every saturday at 10.30 pm. Lot of souvenirs actually...

    But well, to talk about "Caught in the act", it's maybe the well known episode of the serie by his theme "sex and alien" and... frankly because of Alyssa Milano who is naked all the time. That's why people said that was one of the most sexy episode and I have to say that I completely disagree with that point. The Outer Limits was very sexy and not because of this episode, that's why because the whole serie was like "hot".

    The story is really good, for the first time we meet students, and that is really rare. Firstly because it's rare to be on earth and secondly, because it's really hard to create a plot about teens... then, there is always an alien part in all the Outer Limits I guess. But this alien is not so mean this time, he is more looking for energy than for conquests and oddly he leaves Milano's body at the end of the episode just because she is really in love with someone and not just attracted by men... that's the part I really didn't get. So that was that, puritanical America, cheesy moral and bad end. Please youngest, just make love with the one you love or you belong to. Take care of the bad part (alien) you could have, it could destroy everything you have.
