On a typical night, a single (divorced) mother finds her two young children playing in their room past their bedtime. After settling them back in, and receiving a phone call from a friend, the woman's son finds that his teddybear is missing. Upon looking under the bed, and seeing his teddybear far underneath, it seems that it can talk, and is asking the boy to help him who is stuck under there. When the boy reaches under to get the teddybear - after the surprise of his talking bear of course - something grabs him, pulling him under the bed, but is not anywhere to be found.
A full-out search and police investigation ensues, the prime suspect being the ex husband / father who is wanted on parole violations.
However, a skilled counsellor that the lead detective on the case called in, when talking to the missing boy's sister, starts to realize that there is something very strange about her account of what happened. This may not be a typical abduction, but what else could it be? Well, they will find out soon enough.
