I saw this episode and I do not understand it, just as I do not understand a lot of this whole series. So Mrs. Parker asks the professor to be her date to the high school reunion, he naturally refuses, but then she tries to buy him? With a lie? Even if is true, should this be any reason for him to agree to go out with her? That makes him an opportunist and her, someone with no pride.
Anyway, what he turns out to be a a stupid chump and a sucker. Her believes her lies, but get this! She basically bullies him at the function, dances with another man(why has she asked him to be her date then?) and then laughs at him and makes fun of him when he found out that she was not related to that store owner.
But it was just as much his fault as it is hers. He is too retarded. He should have never believed anything she said and let anyone force him to do anything. She would continue to bully, dominate, disrespect him and he continued to be a dunce sucker and a fool, agreeing to whatever she wants only if an incentive(money) is offered. I would have told her like this "I don't care if you offer me a 998 thrillion dolars, I'm not going out with you!"moreless
