  • Brotherly hate

A good episode again. The show is improving little by little and this one is not so funny but the story makes up for that. Danny learning his brother's songs by some kind of in-sleep osmosis is very naive but it is not impossible to happen in real life. The boy's reactions are also very different to today's standards. All they do is whine to each other. I still think that after ten episodes, the show still feels raw. No magic between the main characters which I think is very mportant because it is a family! I also don't like the fact that not all of the characters act in all of the episodes and are merely fillers. It just feels odd.moreless
  • Keith vs. Danny over a song.

One of the typical episodes of the series center on the feud between Danny and Keith. A pausable reason why the Partridge Family may have broken up in 1974. Well after ABC cancelled the series. The tow are arguing over a song that Keith though up and Danny may have come up with the same song as he slept. the song that they have come up with "To Be Lovers," is acually was written by someone else. so you see the song was made up by someoune is actually credited in fiction by both Danny and Keith. If you watched the Partridge Famiy doing their number onstage and the camera takes a view of the audience, they many be older than you though.moreless

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Danny: What do you want a new wall for?
Keith: So I don't have to listen to anymore of your great ideas.
Danny: But I'm the best thing that ever happened to you.
      Keith: I'd rather have acne.
Danny: We could be a great song writing team.
Keith: I want a new wall.
Danny: We could be bigger than Lennon/McCartney!

  • NOTES (2)

    • song: "To Be Lovers" from "The Partridge Family Album"

    • Early in the episode, Keith makes a joke about Danny being influenced by the film "Myra Breckinridge". That controversial film, released earlier that year and starring Raquel Welch as a transexual, has been called one of the worst films of all time.
