Show Summary

Paul Winchell, ventriloquist along with his dummy Jerry Malone starred in this variety show. The show consisted of a mix of comedy, music, a quiz program and dramatic skits during its primetime run of four years. The Winchell-Mahoney Show was known as the Speidel Show during its first year and a half on air (December 1951) and was sometimes referred to by the quiz element, "What's My Name?". The annual 'Look' Magazine TV awards were presented on special telecasts of this series in December 1952 and December 1953 with top names appearing.
