Even though the entire show is based on a set of highly questionable theories and strategies, this episode was interesting to watch because of the wide variety of responses from the contestants. The "masters" instructed each contestant similarly, but each one hit a different stumbling block. It was interesting to see who took the makeover too far past his personal taste, who forced himself to talk to strangers when he normally wouldn't, and who studiously memorized pick-up lines and scripted stories instead of relying on improvisation. And just when the "sink or swim" approach and phony tactics had me groaning in disgust, amiable Spoon dropped out of the running. I've never respected a reality show contestant more!
