The Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show

Show Summary

A Ruby Spears animation production The Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show was based on the adventures of the DC Comics superhero Plastic Man. The show also featured various other character segments, such as: Baby Plas, Plastic Family, Mighty Man & Yukk, Fangface And Fangpuss, and Rickety Rocket. "Plastic Man" was about the stretchy superhero himself. "Baby Plas" was about Plastic Man and Penny's baby son. "Plastic Family" focused on the adventures of all three of the Plastic Family. "Mighty Man & Yukk" was about a tiny Superhero and his dog that could talk and wears a doghouse because he is so ugly that he could practically kill with his ugliness. "Fangface And Fangpuss" was about a werewolf and his cousin's (who is also a werewolf) adventures. "Rickety Rocket" was about an artificially inteligent space ship that was created by a group of African-American kid geniuses who solve mysteries in the future. This show can occasionally be seen on Cartoon Network and maybe even Boomerang, however, it's only the "Mighty Man & Yukk," and "Fangface" segments. "Rickety Rocket" might have been shown on Cartoon Network.moreless

  • fun show to watch.

    9.0
Its a good show to watch if you are a fan of 70s/80s cartoons.
  • A good show for a lesser known DC comics superhero.

    8.6
One of the lesser known DC comic superheroes (who is a comic relief hero) gets his own TV show and its not bad. It is very tongue in cheek and light hearted (not like Batman TAS, which is very dark) but it is from the 80's so what do you expect. I used to watch this on BBC1 when i got home from school so am glad to be reliving my childhood and bringing back memories again.

The main characters are Plastic Man, Hula Hula, Penny and the Chief.

A different villain appears each week.

The one thing about the show that annoys me is the fake laughter track! it reminds me of when scooby doo used to have canned laughter over it!moreless
