In "Curses," when Bubbles is moving her crayon across her drawing before it breaks, the drawing has no color when the crayon goes over it.
Apparently, the Girls can play rock-paper-scissors, even though they do not have any fingers.
In "Curses," when Bubbles returns from hearing the Professor say bad words, Blossom's legs are bare.
Towards the end of "Curses," when the Girls are talking with the Professor, Buttercup's mouth moves more than it's supposed to since she only said one word.
In "Bang for Your Buck," at the start, where Mojo Jojo is having the garage sale, the old lady comes to Mojo with the red ray gun, she tells him that the price tag reads $350,000 dollars, yet when you can see the price tag on the gun, it only reads $100.
(The Professor, who is not happy, taps a foot while the girls descend.)
Blossom: What's going on, Professor?
Buttercup: We're a little busy.
Professor: I am very angry with all three of you.
(A crowd forms behind him.)
Girls: What for?
Professor: That word you're using is not a good word; it's naughty.
Blossom: What word?
Bubbles: We used a lot of words today.
Professor: You know, that one you keep using over and over. (tapping head with a finger) Think real hard.
Buttercup: "The"?
Bubbles: "You"?
Blossom: We've used both of those a lot.
Professor: No, not those; those are great. It's that other one.
Blossom: "Bad"? That's not good. Is that it?
Professor: (putting hands on head) No, that new one.
Bubbles: Oh, you mean "(honk-honk)"? I learned that from you, Professor. You're always teaching us new stuff.
(The crowd is now angry, and the Professor laughs, embarrassed.)
Professor: Oh, well, that can't be right.
Bubbles: Stupid (blocks tumbling) crayon! That was my favorite color! Well, I guess my unicorn will have to be pink.
Professor Utonium: Blossom! Buttercup! Bubbles! Get down here right now!
Girls: Professor?
Blossom: Could you excuse us for a sec, Mr. Monster?
Blossom: Take that, you (horn honks) monster!
Professor Utonium: What that word really means is... (whispers, telling the girls what the bad word he has accidentally said really means)
Girls: (shocked) NO!
Bubbles: Oh, no! I'm a pottymouth!
Blossom: So, now how do we get the money to afford the destructo ray? Think, Girls. Think. (Pause) Except you, Bubbles.
Ace: (To kid) Give me the money, or your fish will be swimming with the, uh... fishes.
Man: (Answering door) Oh, it's a flying girl scout.
Old Lady: Excuse me, sonny boy.
Mojo Jojo: "Sonny boy"? My name -
Old Lady: The price tag on this hair dryer says $350,000. You take a buck and a quarter?
Narrator: The city of Townsville, where Mojo Jojo... is having a blowout!
Mojo Jojog: Welcome to Mojo Jojo's everything-must-go yard sale!
(Hotline rings)
Blossom: It's the hotline!
Bubbles: But we're in time-out, and Ms. Keane says we have to stay here and think about what we've done. I don't know what that is, but...
(In the corner)
Bubbles: So... this is what a time-out is like.
Buttercup: Aw, you get used to it.
Blossom: I wonder if this will go on my permanent record.
Buttercup: Okay, then. Let's rock, paper, scissor for it.
Powerpuff Girls: Ready? One, two, three...
Blossom: Scissors beats paper.
Buttercup: Ha, ha. You lose, Bubbles. Now go see what's for dinner.
Bubbles: I always lose at this game.
"Curses" is also similiar to Rugrats episode, "Word of the Day."
First and only episode written by Tim Parsons.
The Powerpuff Girls learn, for the first time, about curse words and what they really mean in "Curses."
Villain(s): Mojo Jojo, Cursing Monster, & Gangreen Gang.
The episode "Curses" is similar to an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants called "Sailor Mouth."
The Powerpuff Girls swear in this episode, but the words were blocked by a school bell, a jack hammer, car horns honking, and steam hissing.
