  • Funniest episode!

    10
Mo Job - Probably the funniest short ever. I found myself laughing through the whole thing especially in the slow motion parts. I literally could not stop laughing. I also like how Mojo & Princess team up, why didn't Mojo think of this plan before. It was genius. I love the writes for this show.

Pet Feud - BEEBO ruins the town, it was very predictable what was going to happen in this episode, BEEBO was going to keep on growing bigger. More of an educational episode, to take care of your pets or something terribly wrong is going to happen.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (13)

    • Look Hard: When Mojo Jojo is outside, his stairs are nowhere to be found. It is like this throughout the whole episode.

    • "Mo Job" - When Mojo Jojo is taking a bath, you can see his prison clothes, but he walks outside and you can see he was in his house. So what is he doing with is prison outfit?

    • "Pet Feud" - Before the Professor hits the ground after the lab explosion, Bubbles is on the side where Buttercup is, but when we see the Professor hit the ground, Bubbles is on Blossom's side.

    • "Pet Feud" - In the shot of the Girls sleeping at the lab door, the whole picture started to vibrate before the explosion can be heard.

    • The Utonium house has two walls, but when the Professor saw the the damage in shock, it has six walls (if you can count quickly).

    • As the Narrator says, "And so, as the days passed eg," watch carefully at the near back side of the house and you'll notice it decreases and increases every time a night and day shot comes in.

    • When Mojo shot the laser at Buttercup, it slowed down a little bit before Blossom saved her.

    • After BEEBO exploded, which broke into millions of them, there's a shot of all the Townsville people with their BEEBO's, but the Mayor has three BEEBO's in his hand. But as the Professor told the Townsville people what to do with their BEEBO's, it shows the shot of the people again, but look closely and you'll see that the Mayor has five BEEBO's in his hand, and in the final shot of the episode where the Professor took BEEBO off him, he had one BEEBO, which has grown quite a lot.

    • The alleyway that Bubbles went into is narrow, and BEEBO is so huge. So, how did BEEBO manage to fit into the alleyway?

    • Why can't Bubbles just fly out of the alleyway to avoid BEEBO?

    • After Blossom gets eaten by BEEBO, Bubbles and Buttercup shouted "Blossom!," but Bubbles' mouth didn't move when she said it.

    • BEBO caused so much destruction to the house, yet the girls didn't hear him.

    • Princess should already know Mojo from "Birthday Bash."

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Princess Morbucks: WATCH IT!!! You almost got me! HIT THEM!!! HIT THEM!!!
Mojo Jojo: I'm trying, I'm trying.

    • Narrator: Hey! What's so funny? I didn't get one, either.

    • Buttercup: That's it, let's get him!
Bubbles: No, don't hurt him, I love him.
      Buttercup: But...
Blossom: Bubbles is right; he's our pet. It's our fault that he's like this, let me talk to him.

    • Professor Utonium: (sighs) Okay, just answer me this: did you remember to feed BEEBO only once?
      Powerpuff Girls: Yes.
      Buttercup: I did.
      Blossom: I did.
      Bubbles: I did?
      Powerpuff Girls: Whoops.
      Professor Utonium: Whoops is right.

    • Professor Utonium: Girls, girls, I've done it! I've created a perfect pet!

    • Girls: BEEBO, go boom.
      Ms. Bellum: Wait, girls. Look.
      Girls: It's raining BEEBO.

    • Bubbles: No, BEEBO. No, I love you.

    • Professor Utonium: Oh, girls, it's time to fo... HOOOOLLLLYYYY COOOOWWWWW! Girls, what is this hole?

    • Blossom: (Answering Powerpuff Hotline) Hello?
      Mayor: Hi, Blossom.
Blossom: Hi, Mayor. How are you?
Mayor: Oh, I'm doing just great. Just great.
Ms. Bellum: (Yelling in the background) Whaddya mean just great?! What about that giant fur bag that's eating the town?! Why do you think you called the girls in the first place?! The town is in trouble. WE NEED THEIR HELP!!!

  • NOTES (4)

  • ALLUSIONS (6)

    • Pokémon
In the scene where Blossom is putting a bow on BEEBO, a Pikachu plush toy is clearly seen next to her. Also, in the scene where Blossom is feeding BEEBO, a Pikachu magnet is on the refrigerator.

    • Mojo Jojo: Newman!
Newman is the name of Jerry Seinfeld's arch-nemesis on Seinfeld. Whenever Newman comes to visit, Jerry always greets him with a bitter "Hello, Newman."

    • Jumbo Machinder Toy: Great Mazinger
While Princess and Mojo Jojo are yelling at each other, a child in a nearby picnic is playing with the Jumbo Machinder toy of Great Mazinger (the sequel to Mazinger Z). Great Mazinger was also featured in Mattel's Shogun Warriors toy collection.

    • BEEBO: Concept
The concept of "BEEBO" is a pun off of the 1984 movie, Gremlins. In Gremlins, you could not feed the Gremlins after midnight (along with several other rules), or they would turn into... freaky monsters. Likewise, the Powerpuff Girls were not supposed to feed BEEBO more than once.

    • Princess Morbucks: Atsa spicy meatball!
This quote was taken from an Alka Seltzer commercial from the '70s. The commercial depicted an Italian man doing a commercial for spicy meatballs, but he could never do it right, and after eating them in take after take, got heatburn and need the brand of antacid. The commercial was short-lived, as the medicine company got some angry letters from Italian-Americans, claiming that it was an unfair steriotype; but today it's regarded as a classic.

    • Princess Morbucks: Help! I need somebody! Help! Not just anybody!
Princess is saying a line from "Help!" by The Beatles.
