  • Trivia

    • The boys kick the girls out of the way after they saved the people on the plane, bus, and boat. When Buttercup tells the boys "catch us if you can!" they flew away from the opposite side of where they hit them.

    • Buttercup has a green dress and a black stripe. But when she and Blossom say "Bubbles look out" you'll notice that Buttercup has a black dress and a green stripe.

    • When Mojo Jojo tells the boys what butts to kick, Butch was in the middle and Brick was at the side of him. But when the boys agree, Brick and Butch manage to switch sides.

    • When Brick is chasing Blossom, she goes to the side of a teenage girl's shirt, while Brick goes under.

    • Mojo only mixed about two or three snails in the concoction, but when the boys are destroyed, there are more snails in the end.

    • How exactly does Mojo know the number for the Girls' hotline?

    • Since when did nasty toilet water become equivalent to Chemical X?

    • Mojo manages to make fingerprints while he's still wearing his gloves.

  • Quotes

    • Mojo Jojo: Curse you again, Powerpuff Girls, I'll be back and this time it's not me who will be defeated. It is you who will be defeated, and if you are defeated, it is you who have lost.
      Narrator: Oh, Mojo, shut up.

    • (Rowdyruff Boys and Mojo saw the girls at the window)
      Rowdyruff Boys: Huh, what the-
      Mojo Jojo: GET THEM!

    • Blossom: Bubbles, are you okay?
      Bubbles: I guess so, I...
Brick: (off-screen) Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?

    • Brick: What's wrong with you girls?
Boomer: Yeah! You're supposed to start crying when we hit you?
Blossom: What, are you guys new?
Bubbles: Yeah! We're the Powerpuff Girls!
Buttercup: And it takes a lot more than a couple of cheap shots to make us cry.

    • Mojo Jojo: (On phone) Hello -- uh, may I speak to Professor Utonium?
Bubbles: Who shall I say is calling?
Mojo Jojo: Oh, no one he'd know, just a curious stranger.
Bubbles: PROFESSOR! THERE'S A STRANGER ON THE PHONE!
Professor Utonium: (Comes and picks up the phone) Hello, Mr. Stranger. What can I do for you?

    • Ms. Bellum: What do little boys fear most?
      Bubbles: Bugs!
Buttercup: No, Bubbles. That's what you're afraid of.
      Bubbles: Oh, yeah.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Bubbles: Sorry about your window, Mr. Looper.
      Shopkeeper: It's Cooper! COOPER!

This line when Bubbles confuses Mr. Cooper's name at the store is a reference to Sesame Street, when Big Bird used to similarly confuse Mr. Hooper's name (the original owner of Hooper's Store), often calling him stuff like the above mentioned "Mr. Looper," including the famous 1983 episode when Big Bird learned that Mr. Hooper died ("I'm gonna miss you, Mr. Looper.")

    • The Ingredients of the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls

The ingredients of both the Rowdyruff Boys and the Powerpuff Girls are from two nursery rhymes from Mother Goose titled "What Are Little Boys Made Of" and "What Are Little Girls Made Of."

The rhyme says: What are Little girls made of, made of? What are little girls made of? Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice. That's what little girls are made of. What are little boys made of, made of? What are little boys made of? Snips and Snails, and Puppy Dog tails, That's what little boys are made of.

    • Narrator: Those boys are b-b-bad to the bone!

This line is a reference to the George Thorogood song "Bad to the Bone" and the hook in the chorus, in which the sound of the letter B in the word bad is repeated several times before the whole word is sung.

    • Mojo Jojo: (Gets doused in green liquid)
When the Rowdyruff Boys douse Mojo with a cooler full of a green liquid after their victory, I found it a funny take on the NFL tradition of a team throwing Gatorade on their coach after winning an important game.
