- These episodes actually aired in reverse order. "Roughing it Up" is played first, and then it's "What's the Big Idea."

- Baby Blues! This is one of the few cartoons which keeps the same design of a character as a child for the whole thing. Professor Utonium is shown as a child in this episode, and looks exactly like he did in the last episode showing him as a child. One cartoon that shows characters as children, but they don't look the same as before is The Fairly OddParents (see "The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker") and Nintendo has also done this. They intentionally designed Baby Mario differently in the Super Nintendo game, Yoshi's Island. We had seen Baby Mario before in the Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Toddler Terrors of Time Travel" and he, as well as Luigi and Bowser, looked completely different than they did in the game. The look change wasn't a good idea, because fans to this day still complain about the baby difference.
