    • TRIVIA (2)

      • In the episode previous to this one Helen makes a comment about wanting to change her hair to give her a softer look. In this episode she now has bangs and a pageboy cut.

      • The show referenced in the episode was a fictional one. But they did say that the show was on ABC, the same network that The Practice was on.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Mark: Can I give the speech one more time just to be sure that I've made the point?
Helen: If the point gets any more etched in my brow, I'm going to need to take time off to get botox, but ok, go ahead.

      • Judge Kittleson: About six weeks ago, I had what I would consider to be an extremely erotic dream. And you were in it. I won't go into the details, except to say that you were quite well represented.

    • NOTES (2)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Helen makes a reference to Rehnquist. William Rehnquist was the Supreme Court Chief Justice from 1986 to 2005. He was named Chief Justice by President Ronald Reagan.

      • The defense attorney made a reference to Timothy McVeigh and to Jeffrey Dahmer. Timothy McVeigh parked a rental truck in front of a federal building in Okalahoma City in 1995. The blast killed 168 people, and was the deadliest terrorist act until 9-11. Dahmer was a serial killer, who took 17 lives from 1978 to 1991.
