  • QUOTES (3)

    • Stephen Donnell: You know it's funny, I've always wondered if you were proud of me.
      Bobby: What?
Stephen Donnell: I mop floors and it's the first time in what? Seven or eight years that you've invited me over here.
Bobby: This is the first time I've been excited for you to see it.
Stephen Donnell: You don't think I'm proud of you, son?
Bobby: You don't think I'm proud of you?

    • Bobby: Is he drunk?
Ellenor: No, he um, drank after the accident. He's just calming his nerves.
Officer: That's exactly what he told me. Almost the same words.

    • Officer: Nobody light a match.
      Ellenor: Excuse me?
      Officer: One, two. He's flammable.

  • NOTES (2)

    • Star Trek alert: George Coe played Judge Walters, he also played Avel Durken in Star Trek: The Next Generation episode #89, First Contact.
Note: This was a title of an episode in season 4, as opposed to the movie title.

    • Ellenor advises her client to drink bourbon out in the open to skew a future blood alcohol test after hitting a pedestrian, which turned out to be Bobby.

In another DEK show, Picket Fences, Doug Wambaugh does the same thing with one of his clients. He advises the client to go home and have a few drinks after she is in a car accident.
