Well bobby case was going well until the witnessed began being coach, knowing that the defendant videotape interrogation would do more bad than good bobby did not let the defendant testify.Helen now believes the defendant is guilty , her closing in my opinion was unsatisfactory and i believed she wanted it that way. Hear say has an exception which is state of mind and since the victim told the brother she wanna live a better life (which means heaven i think but she didnt want to be so direct) so that basically was the statement that convicted the defendant. Too bad, Elenore motion for a trial was nice but not as good as her recent work. The judge basically didnt want the burden on him so he gave it to a jury.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Previously, there is a shot in the credits of Bobby, Ellenor, Lindsay and Eugene walking side by side, in a "going-to-war" kind of stance. This shot is replaced by one of the whole firm, walking in the same "going-to-war" stance.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • D.A. Kate Brunner: You've got motive. There's forensics. The whack on the head. They were heard fighting. Nobody described the woman as remotely suicidal. The man did it. I don't care if he passed 50 polygraphs.
      Helen: I'm not so sure.
Brunner: Well let me make it easy for you. You're prosecuting this case.

    • Myers: You're tilting at the wrong windmill this time.
Ellenor: You haven't seen us tilt yet.

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Don Quixote

The term tilting at windmills is a reference to the story of Don Quixote, who attacks windmills thinking himself to be a knight and the windmill a giant foe.
