When Ellen and Ellenor go in the elevator they pressumably enter on one floor and exit onto another. However, with the exception of the cork board over the elevator buttons, everything is the same on both floors, including the file cabinets against the right wall and exact same office on the left.
Jimmy: You know, I think two women together can be sensual.
Ellenor: Well great, we'll call you up as a character witness.
Helen: Oh, well, your buddy George has a little home video library, Ellenor. None of them directed by Ron Howard.
Vogelman: I was home!
Ellenor: Yes! And that's the only thing I have to tell the jury...that while Susan Robin was being murdered, you were home alone watching your own private Discovery Channel.
Bullock: Now it's possible the defense might endeavor to convince you their client's a good man. Perhaps he is, though in my experience good men don't execute people.
Jimmy: (While reviewing Vogelman's video collection) Well you can get this late night on Showtime. I mean, what's the . . . oh. Not that, you can't.
