    • Judge Lander: Come one, counsel, I've got precidence staring me right in the face, here. You can't hold a city liable for injuries in a soccer game. Did you read these cases?
Clair: I read them, your Honor. And I don't interpret them to bar the type of lawsuit that we're bringing.
      Judge Lander: You wouldn't.

    • Bobby: Reality is I never went back because I believed my client was guilty. I bought into that confession just like everybody else.
Rebecca: Not a good thing to bring up in your closing.

  • Notes

    • Dakin Matthews appears in this show as Judge Lander, but Matthews also played Judge William Aldrich in 3 previous shows of The Practice.

    • This episode ended with a credit for Kimberly Deen. It read "Associate Producer: Kimberly Deen: 1962-2003." She died on February 7th of cancer in Tarzana, California. Along with being a associate producer for the show, Deen was also a production accountant and a production supervisor.

    • Although credited, Lara Flynn Boyle (Helen Gamble) does not appear in this episode.

    • ABC's press release for this episode credited Austin Tichenor (as A.D.A. James Whitaker) and Richard McGonagle (as Judge Patrick Wilcox) even though they neither were credited in the episode nor appeared in it. There may have been a scene or two dealing with Lucy in the jury pool. It's possible both Tichenor McGonagle were in a cut scene dealing with this storyline.
