    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (4)

      • Mr. Parker gets engaged to (a brunette) Brigitte.

      • Jarod's Pretend: College Professor

      • When writing the ways to murder someone on the blackboard, electrocution is spelled electricution. Wouldn't a genius who is pretending to be a criminology professor instructing gifted students catch this?

      • Claire is supposedly unconscious but amazingly she manages to stand upright on chair with a noose around her neck. This is where she comes to. [Editor note: It is shown later in the scene that Jarod rigged her inside a body harness, hence her upright position. I've left the original Trivia blurb here in case there's any future confusion.]

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Claire: The superior mind always has a way out. Tiny little door marked 'exit'.
Jarod: Well, maybe it's time to run for it.

      • Claire: Once in awhile, even the dumber animals do something unpredictable. Something that catches you off guard. And that's when it really gets fun.
Jarod: Fun, till you get bitten.
Claire: I haven't been bitten yet.
Jarod: Yet, being the operative word.

      • Jarod: Interesting experiment. There's no way the rat can win. Every turn leads nowhere. No reward, no way out. Seems pointless.
Claire: Maybe that is the point.
Jarod: He with the biggest brain wins. Is that it?
        Claire: Or she.

      • Young Sydney: A sharp mind left idle can become a very sharp weapon indeed.

      • Claire: You know, Jarod, if you ever wanna get together, pick each other's brains? A little one-on-one?
Jarod: Careful, Claire. Don't cross a line you can't come back from.
